Evaluating medical effects built on the amount of exposure is a simple toxicology principle called dose-response. Toxicology, industrial health and associated disciplines contain various methods of human contact with potentially harmful external factors: chemical or microbiological agents, asbestos, climatological conditions, noise, vibration, lighting, electromagnetic fields, etc.
